What’s even better than gold? Platinum of course! So, if I was pleased that The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook reached Gold seller status at drivethruRPG.com, you can imagine how I felt when, little more than a week later, it moved on to Platinum! This is the top level, currently attained by only 0.93% of the products that drivethruRPG offer.
If I may boast just a little, a lot of work went into researching this product and finding ways to make it as accessible and usable as possible while keeping it grounded in science. I’m really pleased so many customers have enjoyed it.
If you’re curious, you can find out more about it here.

I’m VERY pleased to announce our first ever title going Gold at drivethrurpg.com. Yes, The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook has reached the Gold seller award level. That puts it in the top 2.81% of all drivethrurpg.com titles in terms of sales (yes, that’s a very precise percentage and no, I don’t know why that’s the criterion!).
Obviously I’m very proud to have a product reach this milestone! If you’re interested in a resource that helps you quickly and easily design a believable inhabited planet (for a mere $3.95, I might add), then why not do what many have done before you and check it out? This week sees the guys and gals at drivethrupg/RPGnow run their annual GM’s Day Sale, with discounts on all GM aids and resources. All our RPG resources are discounted, so this is a good week to check them out!
But more than that, our sci-fi resource The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook has been selected for a special ‘world building bundle’. This bundle features three world-building resources, all yours for just $5.95. That’s a discount of 80% on non-sale prices! In effect, you’ll be getting The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook for just 81 US cents (which I think is 59p or 66 Euro cents).
Just click on the banner below for more details of the bundle.

It’s the time of year when drivethrurpg offer core RPG rules at a big discount, and that includes Argor FRPG.
So you have a week to wander over and get it for just $5.96.
Just click on the image below to have a look at Argor at our storefront.

Oh, and Happy New Year, everyone!
Our fantasy RPG Argor isn’t specifically aimed at kids so doesn’t qualify for DrivethruRPG’s Teach Your Kids To Game Week sale. However, with it’s easy-to-learn game mechanics and Argor Lite option, it’s very suitable for use with younger gamers. So we’re running our very own sale from now through to 22nd November: during that period you can get Argor FRPG at a whopping 30% discount! Just click on the image below to go straight to the sale page.

To distract me from my ongoing FUMING at my stupid bloody computer, there is at least the Christmas in July sale at drivetrhrurpg.com and the Summer Campaign sale at wargamevault.com. Both last until the end of July and both feature 25% discounts on ALL Draken Games products.

I’m really pleased that our RPG resource Arkadon Castle has attained Copper Seller status at driverthrurpg.com. This was a family-effort, with Middle Daughter supplying some art and Youngest Daughter working on the interior design of the castle. The idea was to provide a setting for a scenario or skirmish in a fortification typical of the sort owned by minor nobility.
It costs just $1.95, if you fancy taking a look just click on the image below.

Drivethrurpg.com are running a sale on all sci-fi products for the entire month of May. Two of our best-sellers, Distant Vistas and The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook are included in this sale, which offers you the chance to buy at a 15% discount. Just click on the images below to go to the product pages (where you can see previews and read reviews).

Our GM resource Anyburg and the Lands Thereabout has just reached Silver Seller status at driverthrurpg! Which makes me very happy. Anyburg allows you to design your own believable fantasy town or city from scratch, based on medieval English data. No need now to guess how big a city of 10,000 people should be, or work out how many houses it will have, or how many inns, etc… Anyburg does all that for you! Historical examples are given, plus there’s a full multi-stage simulation showing how the guidelines can be used to design a fantasy city that changes over time. You can check out Anyburg by clicking on the image below.

Why is this a big deal I hear you ask? Well, because drivethrurpg/RPGnow only allow companies selling original full RPG rules to enter… and the publication of Argor FRPG means we qualify for the first time ever!
So if you fancy spending some Christmas money on our classic fantasy RPG while its discounted by 15%, just check it out at the link below:

The sale ends on Sunday 11th January.
Oh and Happy New Year, by the way!
