Well I think we’re due an update! Chariot of the Gods is, at long last, in the final proofing stage and will be released soon – watch this space for more news.
Meanwhile, we have found out that two more of our products have reached drivethrurpg/wargamevault Seller Awards. Both Distant Vistas and Anyburg and the Lands Thereabout have reached Copper Award status. Yay!

Wargamevault.com are running their regular Winter Offensive sale between now and 2nd January, and Draken Games are participating. All our wargames are available for a 25% discount while the sale is on.

And a very Merry Christmas to you from Draken Games!
Lulu are offering 13 days of deals – a different one each day. If you’re interested in buying a printed version of one of our products, it might be a good idea to visit www.lulu.com and see what the day’s offer is.
Apologies to anyone who voted in the Poll for the next free game. The Christmas wargame won and I have started work on it, but I’m afraid the demands of my part-time MBA have been just too great: there’s no way it will be done ahead of Christmas and releasing it after Christmas seems a bit lame.
So, instead I’ll be working on the runner-up option of a solo air defence game to accompany the next catalogue, which will be out toward the end of winter/early spring (as I want to get Chariot of the Gods finished to accompany its release).
The Christmas game WILL get done though, so watch out for it ahead of Christmas 2013!
Thanks for your patience!
In time for Cyber Monday, all our products at drivethrurpg.com and wargamevault.com will be discounted by 20% through until Sunday 2nd December (December already! How did that happen?).
So for 20% off our RPG products go to http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=2773
And for 20% off our wargame products go to http://www.wargamevault.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=2773
It’s that time of year when things get discounted, and we thought we’d join in. So as of right NOW, all our products at wargamedownloads.com are reduced in price by 20%.
Just go to http://www.wargamedownloads.com/cat.php?ItemSubcategory=56&pics= to see the full list of what’s on offer.
The sale ends sometime on Black Monday (not sure when exactly, I’m in Thailand at the moment so I’m sort of confused on timings!).
We’ve still got a few projects simmering, but we’re due another release so for now I’ll be diverting my efforts to publishing a generic fantasy RPG scenario called Chariot of the Gods. It’s been knocking around for a while and is already well play-tested: all it needs is a bit of a re-write and some artwork adding. Watch this space for details of its release.
Also known as my summer holiday! Often a fruitful time for game designing, so I’ll be away with several notebooks and see what a combination of free time and German wine can do for my creative processes! Meanwhile do please go to the Player’s Poll and pick the next Draken Games freebie, I’ll need to get to work on it as soon as I’m back!
For those of you who didn’t see this on our old website, just to let you know that two of our games have been given seller’s awards by the people who run wargamvault.com and drivethrurpg.com. 1871: The Battle of Dorking has a Copper Award and The GM’s Planet-Building Handbook has a Silver Award.
